The German Bundesliga has returned and the UK are in preparation mode to restart their premier league where some players may need some extra support to get back into form and into the routine of playing competitively after the layoff.
Using the image of the brain may seem strange when talking about how to return strong to football competition after COVID-19 layoff but I use the image of the brain because we all need to use our brain to do everything. Everything we do starts in the brain.
It is said sport is 90% mental, 10% physical therefore I work with players to help them significantly improve their performance by using their brain to do things like improve their physical fitness, correct techniques, get back into playing mode, improve concentration, etc. and with social distancing still recommended I do the work internationally via Skype, WhatsApp, telephone, mobile on an individual basis so that even if you are a part of a team everyone can benefit and the team will be stronger to win more often than they lose or draw.
